Dreamland

Drowsiness slowly overtakes me,

Sweet lethargy seeping deep into bone

Amber eyes gently flutter shut

Like a butterfly arcs through the sky

The sensation of sleep creeps in,

Easing my body and mind to rest

Soon, I descend into a familiar world

Soft sheep prance upon fields of forest green,

Ivory fleece bouncing with each bound

A jubilant breeze drifts through,

Winding around every living being,

It reaches out with spectral fingers

I slumber on a bed of satin petals

With a serene smile on my face,

I am at peace
