Shackles secured to my wrists and ankles, Weighing me down like a stone As it plummets to the very bottom Of a lonely cerulean sea I sink into the depths of solidarity, Static crackling in my ears, Imbuing them with meaningless words The call of darkness is never-ending, Its talons squeezing life from my throat I wheeze, burning lungs pleading for air All the while, my lips crack into a shaky smile, Silver jewel-like tears pour from the abyss within The loneliness doesn't fade The static doesn't dissipate I continuously descend Down, down, down, Where the static crackles forever
