Trapped souls wander dim lit streets,
Aimless in their destination
Some searching for lost love,
Others for muderous revenge
Some long to move on,
While others prefer to haunt the living
Whatever their motivation,
Best not to cross a ghost
Out and about on Halloween night
You could experience quite a fright,
Maybe the worst of your short mortal life

A Halloween poem in August, you ask? Yes, because I’m so so excited for both fall and Halloween! Fall is my favorite season, while Halloween is my favorite holiday. I look forward to this time of year all year, every year. I can’t wait to experience the charming spookiness of Halloween once again! So, here’s a spooky poem in celebration of it almost being here! 🎃👻👹
