How many of us have bought fancy, expensive pet beds for our fur babies, just for them to completely ignore the actual bed in favor of random boxes and bags? Because I’ve definitely experienced this, and many times, at that. I’ve honestly lost count of all the pet beds we’ve bought over the years. I don’t even remember where some of them are, at this point. And you know why? It’s because our kitties would rather just rest in a box or bag the majority of the time.
But, it’s hard to be upset about it when my fur babies look this cute reclining in a box or resting atop a plastic bag. Seeing them look so peaceful and relaxed makes all the wasted money entirely worth it. Plus, with how independent cats are, I suppose it makes sense that they would rather find their own sleeping spots. And cats have been using household objects as those sacred sleeping places for years. Whether they sleep on pet beds or in leftover boxes, I love these little babies with all my heart!
Do your fur babies also prefer household goods over pet beds? Do they constantly spurn your efforts to give them nice, fancy sleeping spots? Or, in a twist of fate, do your pets actually use the beds you buy for them? Let me know in the comments below!
