Feline Friday #45 – Spooky Cats!

I decided to combine my love of cats and Halloween for today’s Feline Friday post! And how did I do that, you might ask? By writing a poem about spooky kitties and all the mischief they get up to on Halloween night! I’m really happy with how this particular poem turned out (I even rhymed throughout the whole thing, haha), so I hope you enjoy it, too!

Spooky Cats

Picture created on Canva (and featuring the lovely Zen!)

Spooky cats adorned with witch hats

On Halloween night, there’s no time to nap

Upon the cobbled rooftops, their claws go tap, tap, tap

Kitties flit through the dense shadows of night, fast as a bat,Β

While the eerily illuminated moon flickers above

It’s this dreadful day of the year they most love

On the search for yummy fish treats, they already know the way

If you cross their path, surely, there will be a grave price to pay

Frightful felines wearing sleek black cloaks and tall witch hats

This Halloween belongs to the spooky cats
