Feline Friday #58 – Kitties in a New Year!

Yay, it’s a new year! We’ve finally done away with 2020, and have moved into a new, hopefully much better year. I know there’s still much to overcome and change as we finally go into 2021, but I’m holding onto hope that this year will be very different, in a good way, of course. Although I’m hoping for many things to change this year, there are also some I wish to stay the same.

For example, my fur babies! I hope they still enjoy playing with their fish toy wands (which they played with last night, to celebrate New Year’s Eve). I hope they enjoy their favorite Temptations brand cat treats just as much as before. I hope they still play with each other and stampede around the house like crazed kitties. I want to be able to cuddle with them every day, just like throughout 2020. And most of all, I hope they continue to be largely unaffected by the pandemic and all the other craziness of last year.

I want my kitties to be able to live simple, but enjoyable and carefree lives. It’s not always possible for humans to live without worry, but I want that kind of life for them. Also, one of my personal New Year’s resolutions is to spend more time with my fur babies. More time petting, cuddling, and playing! Like I said, I want them to have the best lives possible, because they wholly deserve that. This means they’ll probably be even more spoiled in 2021 than they were last year, haha. 😸

  1. This is a very positive blog post. I love it when people talk about something they love rather than themselves. Animals are great. Happy new year. πŸŽŠπŸŽ†
