Screaming into the void
My throat, raw and bleeding,
Struggles to conjure another decibel of sound
It feels like I’ve been wailing for days and days,
Pleading for another living being to hear
No matter how loud the scream,
No matter how painful,
No matter how achingly sorrowful,
Not a soul hears my wounded cries
I continue screaming into the void
