Solidarity in Scarlet Shadows

Photo by Amir SeilSepour on Pexels.com

Waltzing along to a hidden crescendo,

I twirl through scarlet satin shadows

They cloak my porcelain skin,

Donning me in a mask of my own making

I reside in a clandestine corner

Of a cruel, beautiful world,

Untold stories swirling through my soul

Like an unstoppable storm

Always the picture of composure,

While underneath, a lonely smile crumbles

Forever, I dance in sync

With this masquerade of solidarity
