In the depths of my soul,
There are two separate halves,
Forcibly colliding and blending
Into a jumbled, crumbling mess
A constant battle for control,
Dominance over one another
The final goal
Broken into jagged pieces of myself,
I struggle just to breathe in again
An invisible plight that goes unseen,
Feebly crying out for help
With a voice so weak
A solemn fate I can’t escape,
Chained to the slivers left
Of my wilting heart
I cannot be saved

This is another one of my favorites out of the poems I’ve posted here! I gave it a little brush up and increased the font size. I hope you enjoy reading (or rereading) it!
