From time to time, we need to disconnect from electronics to experience life outside of them and recharge. Never feel bad for taking a break from being on social media or staying offline for a while. Doing so is vital for your overall health and well-being.

Just know that you don't have to put up with others treating you poorly or taking advantage of your kindness. It may not seem like it right now, but with both platonic and romantic relationships, there are people out there who will treat you right. There's never just one option for a friend, partner, or acquaintance. So, if there are people in your life consistently making you experience negative emotions/thoughts, distance yourself from them and move on to better things.

Remember that it's okay to take a break, especially if you're feeling burnt out or worn down. You don't always have to be creating, working, doing, or generally being productive. It's perfectly alright and understandable to take a break from your more productive activities and take time to rest/relax instead.

Thoughts swirling downward in a spiral of doubt Below the fractured surface, darkness quietly rumbles It waits for the opportune moment to strike, Its serpentine tendrils squeezing around my tender flesh Held in a crushing vice grip, despair infects my mind Every trace of hope slowly trickles out, Scarlet rivulets fading into nothingness
