Why I’m Offering Commissions
I’ve decided to open commissions for poetry! I love all types of writing, but poetry is the one that’s really stuck with me. Poetry has become a part of me; I adore it, and I want to share that love with the world.
My way of doing that is to offer poetry commissions to my audience. Maybe you’re getting married soon, and you’d like to weave a poem into your vows. Perhaps you need a poem for another special occasion, like a baby shower, a birthday, a holiday, etc. Or maybe you simply want a unique poem crafted just for you.
Whatever the case is, I can help with your poetic expressions! I’m willing to write most any type of poetry, and for any type of occasion. In addition, I’m willing to work with customers and revise a poem if they’re not satisfied with the original product.
Guidelines
Payment Process
Payment for commissions will be paid through PayPal. For now, I’m charging $5 per poem of any type, topic, etc. $5 is the rate for one page of poetry; any longer, and we can discuss the rate. Additionally, payment must be provided before I write the poem. Once payment is received, I’ll start on your poem(s) ASAP, and ideally, I’ll finish it in 1-2 days. Then, I’ll send the poem along, and if you’re not satisfied with it, I’ll rework the poem until you are. That’s my promise.

- The type (haiku, tanka, freestyle, etc.)
- Preferred length (number of lines/stanzas)
- Desired topic (joy, sadness, anxiety, etc.)
- If the poem is for a special occasion, and if so, which one
