In the Shadow of Responsibility
Step forward and accept responsibility For your words and actions, For the person you are today
Monday Motivation #77
A true friend will treat you with care, respect, and kindness. They'll consider your feelings when choosing their words and actions. So if a friend constantly makes you feel down, is critical to the point of just being cruel, or purposely says/does things they know will make you upset, that person isn't a true friend and they don't deserve your friendship. You should never be made to feel lesser by the people around you, and if that's the case, it may be time to remove them from your life. Remember, you deserve care, respect, kindness, and so many other wonderful things.
Monday Motivation #72
Please consider how your words and actions impact others. They can be very powerful tools, and used in a positive way, can make a positive difference in the lives of others. However, words and actions have the power to achieve the opposite as well. It's up to us to be responsible and considerate in how we act, along with how we treat others. So, please, always stop to think how your words or actions might affect the people around you. We have the ability to leave a positive or negative impact on the world and its people.
Monday Motivation #70
Be kind and respectful to others. Treat them as you would want to be treated by other people. You shouldn’t sacrifice so much of yourself or be kind to the extent that it has a negative impact on your well-being. But, there are many ways people can be kind and considerate to others without having to do all that much. These methods could include something as simple as giving a greeting, wave, or smile. And while those actions may seem small, they can make all the difference in a person’s day, week, or maybe even their entire life. You could brighten someone’s day or change their life by showing them a single gesture of kindness.
