Memorial Day

Today is Memorial Day, a somewhat somber occasion. It's a time to honor and mourn those who have died while serving in the military and protecting us citizens. These brave, courageous people sacrificed themselves in order to protect others. They fought for a cause they believed in. They're amazing and truly deserve to be honored for all they have done.

Feline Friday #59 – The Wonderful Sounds Kitties Make!

I absolutely love the sound of my kitties running about the house, dashing after various toys, playing with one another, and meowing all the while. Those are such wonderful noises, ones that always brighten my day and make life better. This is a bit of a sad story, but I didn't realize how much I'd miss those noises until my family and I lost Romeo, our senior cat of 17 years.

Veterans Day

Thank you so much to all our veterans and active soldiers for their service. You are loved, cared for, and appreciated. Again, thank you for your service. It means more than words could ever say. 💜

Twitter Poll for CIB Sunday

I've been thinking about some things in relation to my CIB Sunday feature here on the blog. To that end, I made a Twitter poll asking if people would also be interested in seeing Xbox One and PlayStation 4 video games, even though they often include less materials (they typically don't have instruction booklets, extra manuals, etc.). You may be suffering through something that makes you feel hurt, isolated, and alone. But, there will always be others who have gone through the same thing, or are currently going through it. There will always be other people who understand and appreciate you, even if they're not close by. They are with you in spirit, always. So, you are never truly alone.
