We’re finally in the spring season now, which means warmer weather will hopefully be on the way. I can say for sure that it’s already brought plenty of rain, though, at least where I live! In fact, it rained so much earlier this week that the basement drain couldn’t keep up with the continuous influx of water, and unfortunately, this led to the basement flooding. The kitties were really alarmed by everything going on, and being the curious cats they are, had to come investigate. They kept going in and out of the basement, trying to figure out what was happening and what the heck we were doing.
To me, there are few things in this world that are better and more relaxing than cuddling with kitties. Even if I've been having a terrible day, spending time with my cats and snuggling with them immediately makes me feel more like myself again.
Considering everything happening in the world right now, it can be hard to have a positive outlook on the future. But, things will eventually be better. There will come a day when we no longer have to worry as much. There will be brighter days and better prospects on the horizon. Even if it doesn't seem that way at the moment, life will eventually improve and provide what you need from it. The future is bound to be better, so do the best you can to look towards it with hope and optimism in your heart.
You never know what a quick smile or a simple wave could do for someone, how it could better or even make their day. We all have the opportunity to spread kindness and let others know that we care. We have the power to ensure that the world becomes a more loving, caring, considerate, and generally better place. So let’s do our best to make this world a little kinder to all.
Now that we've entered a brand new year, many of us acknowledge that 2020 wasn't exactly the best year, and want this one to be a much brighter, more positive one. And I'm here to tell you we can absolutely make that happen. We're capable of following our dreams, of making the seemingly impossible happen. So, without a doubt, we can come back from the dark, depressing time that was 2020. Let's work alongside one another to ensure 2021 is a better year for all of us. We can do it together!
