A true friend will treat you with care, respect, and kindness. They'll consider your feelings when choosing their words and actions. So if a friend constantly makes you feel down, is critical to the point of just being cruel, or purposely says/does things they know will make you upset, that person isn't a true friend and they don't deserve your friendship. You should never be made to feel lesser by the people around you, and if that's the case, it may be time to remove them from your life. Remember, you deserve care, respect, kindness, and so many other wonderful things.

Valentine's Day is a holiday to celebrate those you love and show them just how much you care, whether it's through a thoughtful card, delicious chocolates, or just spending time together. With the pandemic raging on and many areas of the world still under lockdown, this February 14 might be quite different for some of us. However, there are still many ways we can connect with loved ones and celebrate the holiday in a fun, engaging manner! So today, I'll be going over several ideas on how to safely celebrate Valentine's Day with family and friends!
You never know what a quick smile or a simple wave could do for someone, how it could better or even make their day. We all have the opportunity to spread kindness and let others know that we care. We have the power to ensure that the world becomes a more loving, caring, considerate, and generally better place. So let’s do our best to make this world a little kinder to all.
It’s important to preserve our relationships with family, friends, and partners. It’s important to look out for our loved ones and make sure they’re doing alright. But remember, it’s just as crucial to look after ourselves and make sure we’re in a good place physically, mentally, and emotionally. We shouldn’t put so much of our time and energy into caring for others that we forget to look after ourselves. Doing so can leave you feeling drained, exhausted, tired, unhappy, and a myriad of other negative emotions. So of course, reach out to the people you love and check in on them, but in the process, don’t forget to consider your own health and happiness. You are important, too.
