Two of my kitties, Karma and Kash, are brothers, so they've always been fairly close and enjoy being around one another. Being siblings from the same litter, they also happen to look out for each other. This includes making sure the other cat is well groomed and clean. If Karma gets anywhere near Kash, he almost always takes it as an invitation to start grooming his brother. It's easily one of the cutest and most endearing things I've ever seen.
If you read last week's Feline Friday post, then you know about the litter of kittens that's recently taken residence in our yard. After they first appeared, my family and I saw them quite a bit over the next few days. The kittens gathered around our picnic table, rested on the playset, and even ate food/water my brother brought out for them (while he was standing nearby). And at the time, they surprisingly stuck around long enough for him to snag this adorable picture.
We recently had new neighbors move in nextdoor, and they happen to have a cat that mostly stays outside. Unsurprisingly, this particular kitty happened to get pregnant and had a litter of kittens just several weeks ago. As of late, it seems the cats have settled in our yard permanently, though. We've begun seeing the kittens wandering around on a daily basis, searching for food and excitement. The kittens are absolutely adorable and remind me of how our kitties were as tiny, floofy babies.
Being a Cat Owner Is... Loving every single moment of your life
I talked a bit about Zen's background in my introductory Feline Friday post, but I didn't really go in depth with all that she went through. So today, I want to share Zen's story, and all that she's overcome throughout the years.
