Throughout our lives, we go through many different friendships, some of them long lasting, and others not. Of course, this is perfectly normal, and it's inevitable that not every friendship will continue. But, it's all the more reason to hold onto the true, lasting friends we have and treasure them. Make sure they know you love and appreciate them. Be grateful to have these friends in your life and convey that gratitude to them every chance you get.
Happy Father’s Day to All the Fathers!
Happy Father's Day to all the dads, adoptive dads, father figures, and fur baby fathers!!! Whatever type of father you happen to be, you're an incredibly important part of your children's lives and the lives of those around you. You're amazing and deserve to be acknowledged for all that you do every single day, not just today. Sending love and best wishes to all the fathers out there! I hope you have a wonderful day full of joy!!
Today is Memorial Day, a somewhat somber occasion. It's a time to honor and mourn those who have died while serving in the military and protecting us citizens. These brave, courageous people sacrificed themselves in order to protect others. They fought for a cause they believed in. They're amazing and truly deserve to be honored for all they have done.
Monday Motivation #72
Please consider how your words and actions impact others. They can be very powerful tools, and used in a positive way, can make a positive difference in the lives of others. However, words and actions have the power to achieve the opposite as well. It's up to us to be responsible and considerate in how we act, along with how we treat others. So, please, always stop to think how your words or actions might affect the people around you. We have the ability to leave a positive or negative impact on the world and its people.
Feline Friday #44 – Remember Me Thursday and Adoption Stories
I'm a bit late with this, since Remember Me Thursday was yesterday, September 24. But, I think the mission of this movement is one that's very important all year round. So, I'd like to take a moment to talk about exactly what that goal is and share my own adoption stories.
