I am 24 years old today! It's kind of hard to believe I'm at another birthday again, because the passage of time over this past year has been so wonky. That said, I'm very grateful to have made it through what was an incredibly harrowing, fearful year for many of us.
Don't rely on other people to determine your own self worth. It's fine to want to feel needed by family, friends, and other loved ones. It's alright to devote much of our time and effort to them, too. However, other people don't reflect your worth as a person. Your worth is so much greater than what those around you think of you. Always remember you're a king/queen all on your own. You don't need other people to validate or reinforce that.
The Blog Brew had a name change and is now known as Lifestyle Ladies Blog Collab! This is my very first post as part of the newly named collab, and as our theme for March was 'Spring', I have a collection of spring themed haiku poetry for you!
You're a beautiful, amazing, talented, and unique person. Without a doubt, you are worthy of kindness, love, and everything positive in this world. You are deserving and worthwhile. You are so much more than your flaws. So, never believe that you're unworthy or only seen for your imperfections.
Be one of the reasons that an employee smiles today, and any other day you happen to be around workers. Make sure they know they're truly appreciated, that they're more than just their job. And remember, whether you're a crafter, artist, author, teacher, clerk, waiter/waitress, banker, or something else, you are seen and appreciated. Thank you for all the work you do.
