We recently had new neighbors move in nextdoor, and they happen to have a cat that mostly stays outside. Unsurprisingly, this particular kitty happened to get pregnant and had a litter of kittens just several weeks ago. As of late, it seems the cats have settled in our yard permanently, though. We've begun seeing the kittens wandering around on a daily basis, searching for food and excitement. The kittens are absolutely adorable and remind me of how our kitties were as tiny, floofy babies.
It may not officially be summer yet, but we're well into its weather where I live. For the past couple weeks, temperatures have been in the 80° to 90° range. Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of such warm weather and constantly feel like I'm melting, haha. I can tell you with absolute certainty that my kitties are loving the recent weather, though!
Finally, warm weather is here, and my kitties are absolutely loving it! The forecast looks nice and sunny for the next several days, so I’m hoping the spring weather is here to stay this time. I know my cats are, too, because they’ve just loved basking in the recent sunlight!
We’re finally in the spring season now, which means warmer weather will hopefully be on the way. I can say for sure that it’s already brought plenty of rain, though, at least where I live! In fact, it rained so much earlier this week that the basement drain couldn’t keep up with the continuous influx of water, and unfortunately, this led to the basement flooding. The kitties were really alarmed by everything going on, and being the curious cats they are, had to come investigate. They kept going in and out of the basement, trying to figure out what was happening and what the heck we were doing.
The Blog Brew had a name change and is now known as Lifestyle Ladies Blog Collab! This is my very first post as part of the newly named collab, and as our theme for March was 'Spring', I have a collection of spring themed haiku poetry for you!
