Remember that you're never truly alone. There are people in the world who understand what you're going through and can relate. There are people who care about your well-being and want to make sure you're okay. There are so many wonderful people in this world, ones who will always be there for you.
You are not broken, and you don't need to be fixed. You're wonderful just the way you are. You are worthy of love and kindness. Remember that you don't need to change who you are to suit others. Be who you are.
Happy Father's Day to all the dads, adoptive dads, father figures, and fur baby fathers!!! Whatever type of father you happen to be, you're an incredibly important part of your children's lives and the lives of those around you. You're amazing and deserve to be acknowledged for all that you do every single day, not just today. Sending love and best wishes to all the fathers out there! I am 24 years old today! It's kind of hard to believe I'm at another birthday again, because the passage of time over this past year has been so wonky. That said, I'm very grateful to have made it through what was an incredibly harrowing, fearful year for many of us.
Don't rely on other people to determine your own self worth. It's fine to want to feel needed by family, friends, and other loved ones. It's alright to devote much of our time and effort to them, too. However, other people don't reflect your worth as a person. Your worth is so much greater than what those around you think of you. Always remember you're a king/queen all on your own. You don't need other people to validate or reinforce that.
