So let’s do our best to make this world a little kinder to all.

  • Monday Motivation #62

    January 25, 2021 by

It’s important to preserve our relationships with family, friends, and partners. It’s important to look out for our loved ones and make sure they’re doing alright. But remember, it’s just as crucial to look after ourselves and make sure we’re in a good place physically, mentally, and emotionally. We shouldn’t put so much of our time and energy into caring for others that we forget to look after ourselves. Doing so can leave you feeling drained, exhausted, tired, unhappy, and a myriad of other negative emotions. So of course, reach out to the people you love and check in on them, but in the process, don’t forget to consider your own health and happiness. You are important, too.

  • Honoring Martin Luther King Jr. and His Legacy

There is so much to be learned from Martin Luther King Jr. and his legacy. Although progress has been made over the years, there’s still so much more to be done. We need to continue pressing for positive change and betterment for our world, for ourselves, for our family and friends, for all those who have been wronged. We need to keep Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy alive, always. So today, and every day, let’s remember the world he dreamed of and work to make it a reality.

  • Monday Motivation #61

    January 18, 2021 by

Remember that it’s okay to take a break, especially with everything going on in the world right now. Never feel bad about taking a break from your socials or scrolling the news. At times, it’s necessary to preserve our emotional, mental, and physical health by keeping ourselves away from sensitive and/or triggering content. So take time for yourself when you need it, stay away from social media when necessary, and only expose yourself to as much as you can personally handle.

  • Feline Friday #60 – To Cuddle or Not to Cuddle?

    January 15, 2021 by

There are fur babies who cuddle with their humans any chance they get, there are lap cats and dogs, and there are pets who would sooner claw you than rest with you. So I’m wondering, what are your babies like? Do you have only cuddlers, pets who never want to cuddle, or a mix of both? With my kitties, there’s quite a variety!

  • Feline Friday #59 – The Wonderful Sounds Kitties Make!

    January 8, 2021 by

I absolutely love the sound of my kitties running about the house, dashing after various toys, playing with one another, and meowing all the while. Those are such wonderful noises, ones that always brighten my day and make life better. This is a bit of a sad story, but I didn’t realize how much I’d miss those noises until my family and I lost Romeo, our senior cat of 17 years.

    January 4, 2021 by

Now that we’ve entered a brand new year, many of us acknowledge that 2020 wasn’t exactly the best year, and want this one to be a much brighter, more positive one. And I’m here to tell you we can absolutely make that happen. We’re capable of following our dreams, of making the seemingly impossible happen. So, without a doubt, we can come back from the dark, depressing time that was 2020. Let’s work alongside one another to ensure 2021 is a better year for all of us. We can do it together!

  • Feline Friday #58 – Kitties in a New Year!

    January 1, 2021 by

Yay, it’s a new year! We’ve finally done away with 2020, and have moved into a new, hopefully much better year. I know there’s still much to overcome and change as we finally go into 2021, but I’m holding onto hope that this year will be very different, in a good way, of course. Although I’m hoping for many things to change this year, there are also some I wish to stay the same. For example, my fur babies!

  • Monday Motivation #58

This week marks the beginning of a new year, which I think many of us are really looking forward to. In that spirit, let’s all look forward to the future and what it holds in store for us. It will be better than the last one. It will have great things in store for you and your loved ones. Break free from the negativity of this year and move into 2021 full of positivity and hope.

  • CIB Sunday #18 – ‘Pokemon Moon’

    December 27, 2020 by

It isn’t the most recent release from the series, but ‘Pokemon Moon’ is the newest game I’ve played to date. After all these years and multiple games, you may wonder if their quality has decreased somewhat. However, I think ‘Moon’ still retains the magic and fun of the original ‘Pokemon’ video games, while introducing fresh mechanics and putting its own unique spin on the usual journey. Somehow, each ‘Pokemon’ title manages to be just as engrossing and interesting as the last, even after so many different games. Today, I’m going to go over what I loved about my experience with ‘Pokemon Moon.’

  • Feline Friday #57 – Christmas Kitties in 2020!

    December 25, 2020 by

One of my favorite parts of Christmas day each year is getting to see how my kitties react to it. This has always been one of the most memorable aspects for me. Christmas is definitely an exciting day for us humans, but I think it’s even more so for fur babies, and judging from my own cats, this is most certainly the case.

  • Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays to All!

    December 25, 2020 by

Merry Christmas, and happy holidays to all!! I know this holiday season, and just this year in general, hasn’t been exactly what we expected or hoped for. For many of us, it’s been a year of ups and downs, of disappointment and sorrow. But, there are still so many aspects of life that make it beautiful and joyful. And I think Christmas is one of the best occasions to focus on the positive parts of life. Even in a year like 2020, it’s a time to feel and embrace joy, a time to concentrate on those we love most, and to spread kindness across the world.

  • Monday Motivation #57

    December 21, 2020 by

With a major holiday like Christmas coming up, it can be very easy to fall into stress and anxiety. But, at times like this, it’s incredibly important to remember the true spirit of the holidays. They’re meant to spread love and kindness, to give joy to others, and just to give in general. So don’t let holiday related stress get you down; instead, focus on the true message of the holidays and fully embrace it. Enjoy the holidays for what they are, a time to give, embrace joy, and spend time with loved ones.

  • Feline Friday #56 – Christmas is Almost Here!?

    December 18, 2020 by

Christmas preparation also includes a lot of wrapping paper, packaging, plastic, and other knick knacks for the kitties to play with. To be honest, the cats aren’t very helpful with those preparations; their main contributions are tearing up wrapping paper, biting at scissors for said paper, and trying to eat ribbons. But, it’s always nice to see them have so much fun!

  • Won’t Fall Again

    December 16, 2020 by

  • Monday / Wednesday Motivation #56

    December 16, 2020 by

Remember that it’s always okay to ask for help. There is no shame or defeat in needing the help of others. So when the burden you’re carrying becomes too much for you to bear alone, please ask those around you for help and guidance. We all need a bit of help every now and then.
