Into Me from You

Photo by Jill Burrow on Pexels.com

The darkness that bleeds into me from you,

It pollutes my soul like coal black ink dissolving into water

We become two halves of the same twisted whole,

A being that was never meant to be,

A monster that shouldn’t have been brought into this world

Hating one another for what we both are,

Despising what we allowed ourselves to fester

We feed on each other, parasites draining until the last drop of blood spills

The two of us refuse to stop for even a moment,

Ensuring mutual destruction is all that waits at the end
