Remember that it’s okay to take a break, especially with everything going on in the world right now. Social media can be very draining in particular, and sometimes, we just need time away from it. Never feel bad about taking a break from your socials or scrolling the news. At times, it’s necessary to preserve our emotional, mental, and physical health by keeping ourselves away from sensitive and/or triggering content. If we force ourselves to take in every bit of drama and news online, it will eventually end up having a negative impact on our health. So take time for yourself when you need it, stay away from social media when necessary, and only expose yourself to as much as you can personally handle.
